Peaches and Cream Green Smoothie

Peaches and Cream Green Smoothie | #healthy #vegan #recipe

Hi hi hi!!! I am SO EXCITED about today’s post because it features my first ever…. RECIPE VIDEO!!! Ahh!! I’m really excited about this next step because I can’t wait to show you how my recipes are made. Believe it or not, as recent as a few weeks ago, I swore I would never do food video. It was scary for me because there’s a lot less control in a video than in a photo. In a photo you can style everything perfectly, then capture the shot exactly how you want it. Video is a little more… finicky. And you have a lot less control aesthetically. BUT, here I am, posting a recipe video!! It’s a little rough, but I’m going to keep plugging away at it so I can give you the best possible videos :)

Another exciting tidbit I wanted to share with you is that I recorded the music for this video! That’s right, that’s me on the ukulele! I’d never actually played it before this, but 20 years of piano really translates well to other instruments. But to be honest, my boyfriend is much better at string instruments than I am, so in the future he’s going to record the ukulele for me, and I’m going to play the melody on piano. Everything is recorded on my phone then edited in Garageband, so I apologize for the less-than-ideal sound quality. But I’m so thrilled to feature my own music in this video!!

So here’s the deal with the recipe. I wanted to do something sweet and simple for the video, that anyone could make. This smoothie tastes almost just like peaches and cream, but it’s made with healthy, whole-food ingredients! You can barely taste the kale, I promise. Green smoothies for the win!

Watch how to make the smoothie here:
