Nasturtium Tangerine Spritz

This nasturtium tangerine spritz is such an easy and refreshing summer drink! With only four ingredients, you'll be sipping this bright spritz in no time!
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 2

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Tangerine Juice see notes
  • 1/2 - 1 Tsp Honey
  • 4 Nasturtium Flowers plus more for garnish, if desired
  • 2 Fresh Spearmint Leaves
  • 2 12 oz Cans Grapefruit Seltzer

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the tangerine juice, honey, and nasturtium flowers, with a few ice cubes. Shake vigorously until the juice is chilled and the flowers are muddled.
  • Pour the grapefruit seltzer evenly between two glasses. Then, divide the nasturtium tangerine mix over them.
  • Serve with ice and nasturtium flowers, for garnish.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • For this drink, ONLY use flowers that you are 100% sure are nasturtiums and are 100% sure have NOT been treated with pesticides or any other chemicals. If you are unsure if a flower is a nasturtium or not, DO NOT consume it! This drink is just as refreshing without them!
  • If you don't have nasturtiums on hand, just omit.
  • If you don't have tangerines on hand, use clementines!
  • If you don't have clementines or tangerines, use unpasteurized, fresh-squeezed orange juice. I do not recommend Tropicana or any other type of store-bought orange juice for this recipe.
  • Turn this spritz into a margarita with a shot(ish) of rum per glass, plus a squeeze of lime juice!
