Spicy Chipotle Chickpeas
These spicy chipotle chickpeas are perfect for salads, grain bowls, avocado toast, or even just on their own as a snack!

- 1 15 oz Can Chickpeas
- 1-2 Tbs Olive or Avocado Oil
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Chipotle Chili Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Paprika
- Black Pepper to taste
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
Wash and dry your chickpeas so they're completely dry. Discard any loose chickpea skins.
In a bowl, mix chickpeas, oil, salt, and spices, so that the chickpeas are evenly coated.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, bake chickpeas in the oven for 20-30 minutes.
When done, let cool.

- The drier the chickpeas are before tossing with oil/spices, the crunchier they will be.
- For even better results, remove all of the chickpea skins before cooking. It takes a long time, but it gets the chickpeas super crunchy!
- This all being said, these chickpeas aren't meant to be totally crispy - they have a meaty inside that really adds texture to salads and pasta dishes!
- Feel free to freestyle the spices here - turmeric, harissa powder, or steak seasoning are all great additions!
