Cook Time 1 hour

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 5 Cups Corn Chex Cereal
  • 5 Cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 5 Cups Gluten-Free Pretzels
  • 1 Cup Pumpkin Seeds

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cup Vegan Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Melted Butter or Vegan Butter
  • 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 275 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the wet ingredients until everything is evenly mixed.
  • Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients a few tablespoons at a time, stopping in between to mix everything. Try to distribute the wet mixture as evenly as possible.
  • On two baking sheets lined with parchment paper, divide the chex mix evenly. Try to spread out the chex mix so that it's as evenly distributed as possible.
  • Bake the chex mix in the oven for 20 minutes. After the time has elapsed, remove from the oven, stir, and rotate the trays in the oven.
  • Bake for another 20 minutes, and repeat the stirring and tray rotation.
  • Finally, bake the chex mix for 10-15 more minutes, checking to make sure nothing is browning too much.
  • When done, remove from oven and LET COOL completely! (Chex mix will continue cooking for a few minutes on the tray once they're out of the oven.)
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • For this recipe I used Annie's vegan worcestershire sauce.
  • If you're not gluten-free, feel free to sub in other ingredients like cheddar crackers or wheat chex (just making sure to keep the volume the same!)
  • Chex Mix will keep in a sealed container (not in the refrigerator) for about 4-5 days.
