4CupsVegetable Stock
2Green Tea Sachets
6Scallionschopped
2TbsSoy Sauce
1TspSesame Oil
2Ramen BlocksI used spinach ramen
Instructions
Bring a large pot to medium-low heat.
Once pot is hot, add in minced garlic and sauté for a few minutes, or until garlic is fragrant. Be careful not to let garlic brown - it completely changes the flavor of the soup.
Once garlic is done sautéing, add in four cups vegetable stock with the 2 green tea sachets. Let the stock simmer with the green tea for about 5 minutes (you can always simmer for longer for a stronger green tea flavor). Once done, use tongs to remove green tea sachets.
Then, add in chopped scallions, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes, or until scallions are softened.
Place the ramen noodle blocks in two bowls. You can use any type of ramen you like - even this classic brand. Just leave out the flavor packets. I got my spinach ramen at my local Asian grocery store.
Ladle the broth over the ramen evenly, and let sit for a few minutes, until ramen is softened (about 5-10 minutes).
