Star-Spangled Sangria
This sparkling, Star-Spangled Sangria is perfect for Fourth of July! Celebrate Independence Day with this delicious, berry-infused white wine sangria.
Equipment
- Star-Shaped Cookie Cutters
Ingredients
- 1 750 mL Bottle Dry White Wine
- 3/4 Cup Berry-Flavored Vodka
- 2 Cans Berry-Flavored Seltzer
- 1/2 Cup Blueberries
- 1 Banana sliced
- 1/2 Cup Strawberries sliced
- 1-2 Cups Ice
- 1/4 Cup Simple Syrup optional
Instructions
- If desired, start by prepping the banana and strawberries - cut into slices, then use a mini star cookie cutter to cut out star shapes. If you don't have a star cookie cutter, plainly slicing the fruit will be just fine!
- Add all ingredients into a large pitcher and stir.
- If desired, add simple syrup to make the sangria sweeter.
- Stir sangria well.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Choose a dry white wine for this recipe, such as sauvignon blanc, pinot grigio, vinho verde, or riesling.
- For the vodka, choose any berry flavor, such as raspberry, blueberry, or strawberry.
- For the seltzer, you can add raspberry, strawberry, or berry blend flavors. Or a combination! For this recipe, I used the Waterloo Summer Berry seltzer.
- If you want your sangria to be sweeter, add the 1/4 cup simple syrup.
