Nut Milk Bags or Cheesecloth I swear by these nut milk bags from Amazon (affiliate link)
Ingredients
1/2CupRaw Pumpkin Seeds
1/8CupRaw Flax Seeds
1/4CupBrazil Nuts
1/3CupRaw Sunflower Seeds
1/4TspSea Salt
1/4CupMaple Syrup
1TspVanilla Extract
5CupsWater
Instructions
Add all of your nuts and seeds to a high-speed blender with the water, salt, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Blend on high for about 2 minutes.
Place a strainer over a large bowl and line it with cheesecloth or a nut milk bag. Pour the seed milk into the cheesecloth or nut milk bag, doing it in batches if needed.
Squeeze the milk out from the seed solids into the bowl. Repeat in batches until you've gone through all the milk.
Compost or discard the solids, and transfer the strained milk to a large mason jar or bottle.
Store the seed milk in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about 7-8 days.
Notes
Be careful not to buy roasted, salted nuts because then your milk will be VERY salty! (Trust me, I've made that mistake!!)
