Vegan Kale Detox Salad

This vegan kale detox salad is packed with healthy, nutrient-dense ingredients, and is the perfect meal for your detox or cleanse!

Broccoli + Chickpeas

  • 1 Head Broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 15 oz Can Chickpeas rinsed and dried
  • Drizzle of Neutral Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 Tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 Tsp Dried Basil

Green Goddess Dressing

  • 1/3 Cup Tahini
  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • Juice from 1/2 a Lemon
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1 Tbs Fresh Basil
  • Black Pepper to taste

The Rest of the Salad

  • 1 Green Bell Pepper sliced
  • 4-5 Cups Curly or Lacinato Kale packed
  • Hemp Seeds optional


  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. In a bowl or on a baking sheet, toss your broccoli florets + rinsed and dried chickpeas with the oil, salt, and spices, until they're evenly coated.

  3. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, bake broccoli and chickpeas for 25-30 minutes.

  4. While the broccoli and chickpeas are cooking, make the dressing. Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Taste, and adjust seasonings if necessary.

  5. When everything is done, assemble the salads. Add on a layer of kale and green bell peppers, then top with the broccoli and chickpeas. Drizzle everything with as much dressing as you like, and top with hemp seeds.
