Ingredients

  • 8 oz Ricotta about 1 cup
  • 2 Tsp Honey
  • 1/4 Tsp Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper to taste, optional
  • 2 Slices Sourdough Bread each cut in half

Instructions

  • Add the ricotta, honey, salt, and pepper to a food processor, and blend on high for about 45-60 seconds. Then, scrape down the sides with a spatula, and remix for another 30 seconds, so that all ricotta is smooth. Taste, and adjust seasonings to your liking.
  • Take two slices of sourdough bread and cut each in half. Then, toast the bread.
  • Add the ricotta mixture to a piping bag or a plastic gallon bag. Cut off the end of the piping bag (or corner of the plastic bag), making an opening about 1/2" wide (though it doesn't have to be exact).
  • Pipe the mixture evenly onto each toast in a squiggle pattern, as shown in the photos.
  • Serve with an extra drizzle of honey, if you'd like, and enjoy!
