This Strawberry Grapefruit Ginger Smoothie is the perfect zingy and summery sip! Made with only a handful of ingredients, this smoothie is full of flavor!
I just got back from a brief vacation on Cape Cod this weekend, and I’m having a seriously hard time adjusting back to “real” life!! My family and I have been going to Cape Cod every year for almost 30 years now, and this was the first time my fiancé had ever been! We had such an amazing time going to the beach, walking down Chatham’s Main Street, and spending time together!
This summer is the first time in a long time that I’ve been busy with things other than my blog. I’ve had more social events and obligations than I’ve had in YEARS! It feels very foreign to me. Prior to this, I was the type of person who had one social event (i.e. going out with a friend, etc.) once every other month. Now, I’m almost up to 2-3 social obligations a month and it feels crazy!!
I think some people don’t take me seriously when I say that I’m introverted to the extreme, because I am otherwise very friendly and conversational. However, as much as I love spending time with my friends, the time when I feel the most energized is when I’m by myself. Right now I’m trying to find a balance between spending time with the people I care about, but also honoring my inherent introvertedness! Still working on that! ;)
This Strawberry Grapefruit Ginger Smoothie recipe is one of my favorite ways to use summer strawberries. I know it may sound like ginger is a very weird addition here, but trust me, it’s SUPER tasty!! It adds just the right amount of zing with the strawberries and grapefruit. This smoothie would be delish with some sweet potato sushi! I hope you love the recipe!
